Madeline Miller is an American author born on July 24 1978.
She has both an MA and BA in Classics from Brown University.
She is the author of The Song of Achilles (2011) and Circe (2018).
She worked on Song of Achilles in her spare time for over ten years as she taught classics to high school students.
The Song of Achilles tells the story of the love between two men, Achilles and Patroclus; two mythological figures in ancient Greece.
